Look what is happening in Year 1!

Amazing Animals in Year One

Monday 11th May | 20 comments

Today Year 1 had some very special visitors – Chloe the royal python, Timatina the tortoise, Tiddlepop the African pigmy hedgehog, Doris the tarantula, Zorro the ferret and their owner Mags!

We learnt about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We also found out about groups of animals such as reptiles, mammals and arachnids.

Everyone held at least one animal and some children and Miss Sedman even raced Zorro the ferret down a tunnel!

Year 1 were super scientists asking lots of questions and observing the animals closely.

Thank you very much Mags, we learnt lots of new information from your Animals in Tuition talk. For more information click here.

It is clear the adults in Year One enjoyed it just as much as the children did.
